Executive Producer Hart Hanson: Bones Will Not Become Parenthood! PLUS: Mini-scoop on Cam’s Love Life!
Jim Halterman scored a big interview with Hart Hanson this past weekend, and Hart seems to be getting a little irritable! We can’t say we blame him — between Bones and The Finder, the guy has effectively filled his schedule. “I have a terrible time remembering what is happening on what show,” Hanson says. “I’ve always been a very absent-minded guy, and now I am like Mr. Magoo or something.”
As far as the Booth-Brennan pregnancy goes, Hanson’s pretty sick of hearing about it. “Anything I say tells the audience what we’re going to do. Really! I can’t say anything!” Any question we might ask is going to get the same answer, Hart promises: “Please watch the show and find out.” Maybe we should go back to Stephen Nathan, who, according to Hanson, is the gabbier of the two!
Fortunately, Hanson’s willing to open up about the other Bones baby in Season 7: “We just cast the cutest child who has ever been on the planet as Baby Hodgins.” New mothers the world over may disagree, but we at least are happy to hear that! And then there’s the now-expected reassurance that Bones will not become some family sitcom: “... what we have to do is remember that this is a crime show and we solve murders,” Hanson declares. “It’s not Relativity or Parenthood.”
Finally — and perhaps most importantly for some — will Cam get some action this season?! “Believe me,” Hanson says, practically with a wink and a nod, “[s]he’s up for it.”
