True Blood’s Hoyt Was Described as “Most Nondescript Human Being Ever,” Says Jim Parrack

Jim Parrack (Hoyt) is glad to be a part of True Blood, but they didn’t recruit him in the most flattering way possible.

True Blood is a total blessing,” he told Da Man, adding, “I went in for the part of Hoyt, which was very small at the time and the character description was literally ‘the most nondescript human being ever’ and I thought, ‘Well, that’s either an insult or an opportunity.’”

It can’t be both? Being Hoyt launched Jim’s career, but nondescript he is not. Only in Bon Temps would a 98th-percentile hottie like Jim blend into the wallpaper.
