Developing Story: More on Russell Armstrong’s Shocking Suicide

Earlier, we reported on the apparent suicide of Taylor Armstrong’s estranged husband, Russell. Russell, 47, was tragically found hanging at the house of a friend on Mulholland Drive in L.A. Monday night.

Now, more details about Russell’s death are surfacing, including how wife Taylor — who filed for divorce only last month— is coping with the news.

Russell’s attorney, Ronald Richards, told TMZ not only was Russell dealing with financial troubles, he was also “extremely bummed out about the divorce from Taylor.”

Russell’s ex-wife Barbara Frederickson is solely blaming the reality star. “I don’t care for her at all. I think she’s the reason for this,” Frederickson tells Radar Online. “I don’t think it was the show,” Barbara said of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “I think she [Taylor] drove him into financial stress, and it just ruined him.” Barbara and Russell also have a 14-year-old son, Aiden, together.

As for Taylor, in a separate interview, an insider tells Radar Online, “She is hysterical, and can barely speak. She has no idea why Russell would do this. She doesn't know how she is going to be able to tell her daughter, Kennedy.”

Bravo apparently filmed scenes for RHoBH Season 2 of the couple going through therapy when they were still attempting to work things out, but the network has yet to comment on whether they will air the footage following Russell’s death.
