Jersey Shore Star Ronnie’s Secret Criminal Past Revealed
Lesson for everyone: Don’t drink Ron-Ron juice, drive and then try to lie about it.
Star magazine reports that Jersey Shore star Ronnie has a “secret” rap sheet, involving drug possession and a DUI. When Ron-Ron was busted for assault back in 2009 for punching a dude while filming in Seaside Heights, he claimed it was the first time he had ever been arrested. Well, sure, if you don't count those expunged court records from 2005.
Star revealed that back when Ronnie was but a young juicehead of 19, he was arrested on multiple charges while driving near his parents’ house in Bethlehem, Pa. Ronnie blew a .13 when breathalyzed and was charged with a drunk driving, underage drinking, possession of marijuana, and some traffic violations, for flavor.
Despite being charged, Ronnie’s punishment doesn't appear on record, but it's likely he simply paid a fine and took drug classes in exchange for expunging the record — similar to the early intervention program he signed up for after his 2009 arrest to avoid a 5-year jail sentence.
So, why did Ronnie lie about his previous run-ins with the law? Since they were in a different state (Pennsylvania as opposed to New Jersey) and the punishment was expunged, he probably thought the Seaside authorities wouldn't find out and would award him a lighter sentencing. While it isn't clear if the NJ authorities knew about Ronnie's past, they did give him a lighter sentencing.
Welcome to celebdom, Ronnie. You have no secrets here.
