Who Is “A”? Top Suspects From Pretty Little Liars Season 2, Episode 11: “I Must Confess”
So, you’re still dying to know who “A” is. Don’t worry — we’ve got our crack team of sleuths on the case, picking up even the tiniest clue for your mystery-solving pleasure. Here are some hints from Pretty Little LiarsSeason 2, Episode 11, “I Must Confess,” that may help us solve this thing for good!
Why she might be “A”: We’ve always liked Maya (Bianca Lawson), but it’s awfully suspicious that she would show up just as Emily (Shay Mitchell) is getting aggressively targeted by “A.” Let’s face it: Maya strikes us as the type to get a tad jealous about Emily’s recent flings, so we could imagine Maya wanting to punish Emily for not being with her. (Of course, if you get jealous easily, then fickle Emily is not the girl for you!)
Why she might not be “A”: It’s hard to imagine that she’d have been able to stalk the girls from her reform school (unless the “reform school” was all a hoax). Plus, Maya is in jazz band, and all the jazz musicians we’ve ever known seem way too laid-back to be as evil as “A.” (Can you really picture Kenny G as a stalker? We didn’t think so.)
Suspect #2: Peter Hastings
Why he might be “A”: Spencer (Troian Bellisario)’s creepster dad is hiding a ton of secrets, as it’s now safe to assume that the reason he freaked out about that hockey stick was probably not just because he dislikes low-scoring sports. So let’s just say that when it comes to trustworthy TV dads, Mr. Hastings is no Heathcliff Huxtable.
Why he might not be “A”: Certainly the guy doesn’t have much in the line of scruples, since he was willing to fiddle around with Grandma Dilaurentis’ will. But we just have a hard time picturing a loving father as the stalker of a bunch of teenage girls. (That is, unless Spencer’s dad has recently started taking life advice from Matthew McConaughey’s character in Dazed and Confused.)
Suspect #3: Kate Randall
Why she might be “A”: Uber-bitch alert! Suddenly, Kate has emerged as a prime suspect, after she reveals her evil side and makes Hanna (Ashley Benson) spew on that wedding dress. Then again, finding a way to get Hanna drunk is about as impressive a feat as a magician pulling out a quarter from behind your ear.
Why she might not be “A”: We’re not so sure that she even knows the other girls. As of right now, her only real crime is being stuck-up and petty. (In other words, it sounds like she and Alison would have been besties!)
