Who Is “A”? Top Suspects From Pretty Little Liars Season 2, Episode 12: “Over My Dead Body”
So, you’re still dying to know who “A” is. Don’t worry — we’ve got our crack team of sleuths on the case, picking up even the tiniest clue for your mystery-solving pleasure. Here are some hints from Pretty Little LiarsSeason 2, Episode 12: “Over My Dead Body,” that may help us solve this thing for good!
Suspect #1: Detective Darren Wilden (Bryce Johnson) Why he might be “A”: He’s certainly spent an awful lot of time with Garrett, so it’s possible that these two are somehow in cahoots. And it’s certainly convenient that the police knew where to find the girls in the woods. Long story short, we wouldn’t be surprised if Wilden somehow has a hidden agenda, considering that this show already has more crooked cops than The Wire.
Why he might not be “A”: It’s hard to believe that he could really be “A,” considering that he’s been M.I.A. for what feels like the past 1,000 episodes. But regardless of whether he really is “A,” we still trust him about as much as we trust a weatherman.
Why she might not be “A”: Remember how a waitress referred to “A” as “pretty eyes” at the end of the episode? The waitress would be pretty messed-up to refer to a blind girl as “pretty eyes.” (Translation: That’s not the action of someone who’s working for tips.) Also, wasn’t Jenna talking a few weeks ago about getting her vision restored? Whatever happened to that? (Maybe it’s yet another storyline on this show that is a big deal at one point and then sorta gets forgotten?)
Suspect #3: Wren Kim (Julian Morris) Why he might be “A”: He was the only person who had a good week, seeing as how he got to put the moves on a newly available Spencer. Makes us sorta wonder if he was involved in forcing Spencer and Toby’s breakup. (By the way, if we never have to hear again about Wren’s used hankies, it’ll be too soon.)
Why he might not be “A”: The fact that the waitress said “pretty eyes” makes it sound like “A” is female. (Then again, there could always be multiple people working as “A.”) And Wren is just so smiley and upbeat that it’s hard to picture him as diabolical. It seems about as likely that we’ll find out that Wren is “A” as it is that we’ll find out that Tom Hanks is “A.”
