The Bachelorette

Exclusive! “I’m Happy for Blake and Holly,” Says Melissa Schreiber — But She Doesn’t Think It Will Last!

The shocking announcement on Monday's Bachelor Pad 2 finale wasn't who walked away with the prize, but that Holly also got an engagement ring to go along with her winnings!

While ex-fiance Michael has openly said he was upset by how ABC announced the news on air before Holly could tell him in person, Blake's former flirt partner Melissa Schreiber congratulated her old adversaries.

"I'm happy for them if they are happy," Melissa told Wetpaint Entertainment in an exclusive interview. "I like Holly."

Before you think everything is forgiven and forgotten, think again.

"I actually feel sorry for Holly because I do think she is genuinely a good person," she added. "I don't think she realizes what she's getting herself into [with Blake].

Does she think the pair will actually make it down the aisle?

"I do absolutely think they will get married," Melissa confirmed. "Blake feels like he has something to prove to America as he came across as a womanizer jerk. He likes the attention and is trying to repair his reputation."

She went on to add: "Do I think it will last? Absolutely not."

Schreiber also thinks that given the opportunity, Blake will tie the knot live on TV. "I think that they will do it in front of the cameras if they the can."

Melissa had the chance to congratulate the newly engaged couple at the Bachelor Pad 2 reunion party last week, where she bit her tongue about her predictions for the future of their relationship.

"I congratulated them. They were very nice, it wasn't uncomfortable. Blake finally apologized. I don't know how sincere it was but I accepted it," she revealed.
