Is Jacqueline Laurita Quitting Real Housewives of New Jersey?
Jacqueline Laurita has managed to ward off the drama pretty effectively on this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey (save her constant fighting with daughter Ashley). We guess that sage cleanse really does the trick.
Of course, the big storyline this year revolves around Teresa Giudice and her family drama. Poor Jacqueline seems to be working very hard to be "the fixer" of the group, but it looks like she's reached the end of her rope.
"Jacqueline [Laurita] definitely quit," a source told People. "She had to walk away for her sanity."
Apparently, she didn't even bother showing up to the Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion Special taping, and none of the other ladies were remotely surprised.
"I can't be part of the Charade anymore," she tweeted this week. "It's unsettling. It's disturbing & against what I stand for." Um, she's only realizing that three seasons in? DUH.
She hasn't explicitly revealed via Twitter that she's out, but she did post this telling tidbit: "I'd like to only focus on positive things now please. I threw the trash out.I'm cleaning now and reorganizing. Starting fresh and new."
Sounds to us like she's down for the count.
Of course, fellow H'Wife Teresa is also supposedly quitting to do next season of Celebrity Apprentice. But if NeNe Leakes juggled both, we don't see what the big deal is for Teresa — she lives a lot closer to New York, where the show tapes!
