Jennifer Lopez Is Bringing Tween Magazine ‘Tiger Beat’ Back, in Video Form
If you’re at that age where you still remember magazines like Tiger Beat (famous for tween centerfold posters that featured the likes of Jonathan Taylor Thomas), AOL has some good news. They recently announced that Jennifer Lopez’s company Nuyorican Productions has partnered with AOL to re-launch the brand in the form of a web series.
Reuters describes Tiger Beat Entertainment as an “entertainment news and lifestyle show for teens and young adults.”
J.Lo’s video series is just one of 15 online series with famous faces. Shows like Unscripted, where celebrities interview each other, and AIM High, which is slated to star Twilight’s Jackson Rathbone, are just a few in a long list of web series that AOL hopes will garner major enthusiasm.
