Glee Season 3, Episide 3: “Asian F’s” Best and Worst Song Performances — Do You Agree?

Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts... along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 3, Episode 3: “Asian F” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. After all, not every Glee cover can be a bestseller on iTunes!

Best Performance of the Night: “Run the World (Girls)” by Brittany and Santana

When Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) team up on a song, there’s no way we’re not gonna adore it, and that was especially true for this energetic adrenaline blast. It didn’t provide quite the opportunity for showing off one’s vocals like the Dreamgirls number “It’s All Over” did (which was an extremely close runner-up), but the combination of singing and dancing (in thigh-highs, no less) was too much to resist.

Worst Performance of the Night: “Fix You” by Schue and New Directions

No, Mike Chang doesn’t have the singing ability that is gonna make a judge spin around on The Voice, but we loved how much of himself he put into his “Cool” performance. So that’s why we had to give this slot to the off-putting “Fix You,” with its weird message about Schue needing to “fix” Emma. We hate to say it, but we’re not sure that the falsetto is really in Schue’s comfort zone. Plus, with everyone dressed in white at the end, we felt like we were watching a recruitment video for a new cult. (In fact, we’re still feeling a little creeped out.)
