Kesley Grammer Says Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Was His “Parting Gift” for Camille
After months of silence, Kelsey Grammer has finally decided to speak out. Not only did the 56-year-old Emmy Award-winning actor just film a one-hour sit-down with Piers Morgan which has yet to air, he also taped an interview with Australian TV program, Sunrise. Both interviews included Kelsey opening up about his marriage to ex-wife and Real Housewives star, Camille Grammer.
"In my mind [RHOBH] was my parting gift to her," Grammer said in his Sunrise interview. "It was a very difficult marriage and a very difficult decade. I thought, 'So long, here's a present for you.'"
This might not surprise RHoBH fans, who recall Camille had an inkling her husband signed her up for the Bravo franchise to “keep [her] preoccupied in California while he was off having his affair in New York," she told the New York Post last year.
But that’s not all. While Kelsey appears to have moved on — he married new wife, 30-year-old Kayte Walsh, shortly after his divorce to Camille was finalized — he reportedly broke down after the Sunrise taping. Kelsey apparently lost his cool because the show’s producer had rolled clips of he and Camille — in happier times — throughout his interview Tuesday. All that reminiscing was too much for the ex-Frasier star to handle.
"You are a vile person ... a sick dog ... your life must be tragic ... I feel sorry for you," Kelsey was heard yelling, according to the Herald Sun, along with a string of words you probably can’t say on television.
