Giuliana Rancic announced Monday morning on the Today show that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The E! News host, 36, was very emotional as she described the details of her diagnosis to Today anchor Ann Curry. Giuliana discovered she had breast cancer after a doctor told her to get a mammogram before she went through another round of in-vitro fertilization, her third. Giuliana and her husband Bill have been public about their pregnancy attempts through IVF, one of which ended in a miscarriage.
Giuliana said that she will have to go through radiation even though she is in the early stages of breast cancer. The Fashion Police star also said that she will push to have another baby once she has been treated for breast cancer.
"I still want this baby because this baby has saved my life," she said, close to tears. "I truly feel God was looking out after me. If I had gotten pregnant later down the line, I could have been a lot sicker."
