Future Bachelorette Contestant? Cosmo Names Chris Van Vliet Bachelor of the Year

It's officially time to move to Ohio. For the second year in a row, Cosmopolitan Magazine has named its Bachelor of the Year from the Cleveland area. Last year’s title-holder Ryan “Mickey McLean gave us the vapors just looking at his photos — never mind smooching Ashley Hebert on The Bachelorette Season 7 premiere.

The lucky winner this year is 28-year-old Chris Van Vliet. According to Cleveland.com, Chris is the host of WOIO Channel 19's "The Buzz" entertainment segment. He was nominated by a female co-worker and said he's donating the $10,000 prize to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland. (Aww!) Check him out in Cosmo's pic. (Whew!) Could this be the butt face of someone willing to find love in front of millions of viewers?

Since The Bachelorette Season 8 is officially casting guys right now, someone should definitely slip Chris’ name into the pile. The hosting hottie is already comfortable in front of the camera — as you can see from his video reel (below) — describes himself as “nerdy” and “down-to-earth” (which we love, Jake Pavelkas need not apply) and is ssssmmoookin!

Come to think of it, another nerdy-hot-fun guy we know, Bachelorette 7 and Bachelor Pad 2 alum William Holman, is also from the Buckeye State. What are they feeding them out there?
