Penn plays opposite heavy-hitters like Jeremy Irons, Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, and Simon Baker in the film, which is set at an investment bank on the brink of the 2008 financial crisis. Perhaps Penn’s new perspective on all-things financial inspired his recent dalliances in the world of big business? Or vice versa? Either way, we’re happy to report that Penn’s current “Muppet” locks look are not on display in the new film.
The star-studded premiere also included appearances by co-stars Paul Bettany and Zachary Quinto, as well as Penn’s new rumored lady-pal, X-Men: First Class star Zoe Kravitz — though the twosome did not walk the carpet together.
Margin Call is in theatres this Friday, October 21. Will you go see Penn playing someone other than some gal’s teenage dream?
