Cheryl Burke on DWTS Partner Rob Kardashian: “He Surprises Me Every Time”

Rob Kardashian is our favorite male KDash (not that there’s any competition – literally), but we aren’t the only ones who love us a little Robbie!

In a recent blog over on People, Cheryl Burke, Rob’s leggy brunette partner on Dancing With the Stars, gushed about her cohort’s improving performance, including his increased confidence – and how he’s learned to embrace his sensual side.

Cheryl writes of the reality broseph: “In the beginning it was hard, because you have to be sexy. Rob and I only mess around during rehearsals, so it was really difficult to take it seriously. I kept telling him he has to be sexy, and every time I'd say it, he'd roll his eyes. He doesn't think of himself as being sexy, and on top of that, he had to be sexy with me. But he was able to pull it off. Whenever we're in rehearsals, he never really goes all out until the actual show. He surprises me every time.”

Cheryl said Rob’s improvement has been “amazing” and gushed that she’s “so proud of him”, adding: “He's becoming really competitive now and he really wants to do well.”

And now that Rob’s mojo is on the upswing, the pair can put their focus on the really important stuff, like the quality of his dance moves – especially since Broadway week is up next for Team Cherbert.

Cheryl’s not too worried. Apparently, Rob’s diggin’ the change of pace, and is “super in touch with how cheesy he’ll have to be” when the partners perform a “still sexy” cha-cha set to a musical number from a “very popular” contemporary show before the judges on Monday.

One part cheesy and one part sexy? For some reason, we think Rob will totally nail it.
