Real Housewives of Atlanta

Exclusive: Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile Will Not Be Spending Thanksgiving With Teresa Giudice!

After an extremely uncomfortable two-part reunion, we have a feeling all of the Real Housewives of New Jersey may need some time to calm down.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile at The Ninth Annual About Face Benefit for Domestic Violence Survivors in New York City on October 20, and it sounded like both ladies needed a bit of a break from Teresa.

Their feud served as the backbone for Season 3, but Melissa (Teresa’s sister-in-law) just wants the drama to end.

“It's really sad. We're a real family. A lot of the women on these shows don't see much of each other when they're not filming, but its different with us. It's very upsetting. I just hope someday we can all forgive and forget.”

While Melissa hopes to put all of the drama with Teresa in the past, it doesn’t sound like everyone is ready to mend fences just yet. Melissa has already made Thanksgiving plans that don’t include Teresa or her family.

"We're getting out of town. We're getting away from the drama. We're taking the kids and going somewhere warm and relaxing. I'm pretty sure Aruba. Lord only knows what we're going to do about Christmas."

While it can be difficult to be away from family over the holidays, Teresa’s cousin Kathy agreed with Melissa’s Thanksgiving approach.

“Same with us, we're getting out of town and going somewhere warm.”

Since we’re pretty sure their invitation to casa Manzo has also been revoked by now, it looks like the Giudices will be holding down the fort in New Jersey alone come November 24!
