Real Housewives Kandi Burruss and Gretchen Rossi Help Taylor Armstrong Move on After Husband Russell’s Suicide
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong — who tragically lost her husband to suicide back in August — is picking up the pieces of her life. Along withAtlanta housewife Kandi Burruss and Orange County’s Gretchen Rossi, Taylor is slated to host New Year’s Eve parties in five big cities across the U.S. this December. It seems keeping busy is helping Taylor move on: A set insider told People she looked “very happy” while filming commercials for the Ciroc Vodka-sponsored soirees last week.
Taylor also bonded with the other housewives, whom she has more in common with than one might think. Both Kandi and Gretchen lost their fiancés since appearing on their respective shows: Kandi’s fiancé was killed during a fight in 2009, and Gretchen’s fiancé lost his life to cancer in 2008.
But the new friendships weren’t formed on tragedy alone. Onlookers said the ladies “laughed and exchanged Housewives stories during hair and make-up.” Gretchen and Taylor were acting “like besties, teasing each other about their cast mates,” the source said.
Between forming new friendships and landing a coveted NYE gig, we are glad things are looking up for Taylor.
