Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The Real Catfights of Beverly Hills, Season 2, Episode 8: “The Opposite of Relaxation”

Jealousy, impatience, anger, annoyance: all sweet, sweet fodder for the most sensational catfights. When the women are swillin' the ol' haterade, we've got your ringside coverage. Here are the highlights from Episode 8 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, “The Opposite of Relaxation.” Get ready to rumble!

INSTIGATOR: Oddly enough, Adrienne
WHY: Adrienne tells Brandi that she has to apologize for making drug accusations about Kim. Meanwhile, Kim refuses to talk to Brandi and constantly says mean things about her to the others (often using aquatic animal references, for some reason).
WINNER: Brandi. The fact that Brandi was still hurt and angry but willing to make an effort to clear the air with Kyle earns her the win. For her part, Kyle at least admits that she and her sister weren’t “angels” (and they weren’t), but somehow Brandi was made to feel the most guilty, whereas Kim sorta got off scot-free. In fact, we don’t blame Brandi for leaving early (even if it meant missing out on those chocolate-covered strawberries!).

WHY: Kim calls Kyle a “traitor” for trying to make things right with Brandi.
WINNER: Kyle. Brandi shouldn’t have made those public accusations about Kim using crystal meth, so we understand why Kim would be upset, but it’s ridiculous that Kim expects Kyle to carry around this grudge against Brandi for all of eternity, just because Kim apparently plans to. Ultimately, Kim’s inability to forgive just reflects poorly on her. Also, we hate to say it, but even Kim’s trampoline flips weren’t that good. (Yes, we went there.)

WHY: Camille admits to us that she empathizes with Brandi, in that they have both been vilified by Kyle.
WINNER: Camille. There’s no doubt that Kyle has managed to get embroiled in two nasty confrontations in the past two years, even if she hasn’t been entirely to blame for both of them. And we continue to admire Camille’s ability to not pick sides publicly in this fight, although Brandi feels that it’s just because Camille is terrified of Kyle’s wrath. After so much turbulence last season, who knew that a level-headed, serene Camille would become the norm?
