Nancy Grace Happy That DWTS Has “Forced” Her To Work Out

Nancy Grace hasn’t had the best two weeks on Dancing With the Stars. First, her Spamalot routine on Week 6’s Broadway Week performance show left her looking stiff compared with the other ladies on the show.

And last night, her stiff stance was even more prominent as she forgot the choreography for her Jive, looked “flat-footed,” according to judge Len Goodman, and stood out as the worst female dancer in the group dance — did anyone else think it was unfair to watch her backwards dips compared to pros Karina Smirnoff and Kym Johnson?

But there is one part of Nancy’s DWTS lifestyle that isn’t getting her down at all: her svelte new frame. As she tells The Hollywood Reporter, “keeping my diet and my exercise journal like I had for about 18 years kind of didn't seem important anymore.” And yet, entering this competition has joyfully reminded her of what it’s like to be fit again. “I feel even greater now," she said. "This has forced me to work out."

As we reported last week, Nancy had so far lost approximately 16 pounds. We don’t know if all that exercise will save her tonight on the Week 7 Results Show, but at least she’ll look great on the way home.
