Jersey Shore

Ronnie Ortiz: Wrestling Is Real and I Want to Act

Oh Ronnie, always a source of wisdom. Jersey Shore's most-muscled guido took to the ring recently, for an appearance on Impact Wrestling, and he came away with a very interesting take on the experience.

Ronnie defended the sport to the New York Post, admitting that "there is a lot of wrestling that is fake," but insisting that "it’s still authentic," because "these guys take beatings." So, basically, all the emotions and outcomes may be totally scripted, but it still hurts, so it counts.

Despite having fun, Ronnie doesn't think wrestling is for him. He enjoys working on Jersey Shore, and if the franchise doesn't last forever, he'd rather transition into acting, just like every other cast member wants to do. He's apparently looking for "more of the action/comedy roles," citing Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper as his favorite actors.

Well, he has the body for a Vin Diesel-type, we'll give him that. Let the Jersey Shore Hollywood takeover begin!
