Hope Solo: “I Almost Quit” DWTS After Maks’ Paso Practice Push

For anyone who thought Hope Solo was fine with Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s forceful treatment during Team Paso practice on Dancing With the Stars Season 13, Week 7, here's your reality check. Hope told Ryan Seacrest she is a strong woman, and would never let someone treat her like that without speaking out.

“I almost quit the show right then and there," Hope told Ryan. "I almost walked out, but I told myself I am in this for the long haul, through all the bumps and bruises, through all the challenges. Maks knew exactly where I stood with it and he knows that it could never happen again...I did everything I could for our fans to not let it get the best of me. I did whatever I needed to do to control myself and to handle it outside of the cameras.”

And here we thought Halloween Week was LESS dramatic than The Broadway Brawl! We know Hope and Maks made up after the show, and they have both vowed to tone down the intensity and just try to have fun. Maks doesn’t want them to hate each other when the season is over.

We love drama on DWTS but we only want it to get physical if it’s about romance. Play nice, everyone!
