Remember 2gether? If not, we’re happy to give you a little memory jog: They’re the franken-group that parodied the boy band craze of the ‘90s with a movie and spin-off series on MTV.
2gether became so popular that they even toured with Britney Spears. How’s that for life imitating art? Or is it the other way around?

Anyway, TMZ recently spoke with Alex Solowitz — the faux band’s “bad boy” — who revealed that they guys are in talks to film the band’s (fake) reunion. The parody will also feature them creating a new song! (It’s still unclear whether the song will be fake or not.)
Everyone is on board for the project, save the group’s youngest member, Michael Cuccione, who passed away after losing his battle to cancer in 2001. The group intends to donate the majority of their proceeds to Michael’s foundation.
The only thing left to do? Meet with MTV and have the bigwigs sign off on the idea. Shouldn’t take 2long, we hope!
