Camille Grammer on Confronting Taylor Armstrong About Abuse: “I Regret Now What I Said”
In this week’s heated episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, perhaps the bigger blowout than Lisa Vanderpump vs. Taylor Armstrong was when Camille Grammer called Taylor out.
Camille took to her Bravo blog to explain why she exposed Taylor’s big secret of alleged domestic abuse at the hands of her late husband Russell. When Taylor lashed out at the group for not being honest or taking sides, Camille writes, “It struck a nerve with me. I thought, "Okay, you might not think everyone is being honest but who is really being honest? You're not being honest with yourself. How do we help you because I know we all tried?"
Camille points out that her impulse to speak out was brought on by external issues — her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer had just filed for full custody of her kids and she was surprised she even made it to Lisa’s.
“I was truly concerned for Taylor and that's the hard part. I wanted to be there for her. I did offer that she and Kennedy could move into my home. It was very difficult. All I wanted was to help my friend,” Camille says. Adding: “I regret now what I said during this episode. And I apologized. I felt absolutely terrible.”
