Stacy Francis Admits She Let the Judges Get in Her Head
Stacy Francis' wonky Meatloaf performance this week didn't impress the judges (except her mentor, Nicole Scherzinger, but she's been drinking Paula Abdul's Kool-Aid the past few weeks as far as we're concerned), and, of course, it resulted in her getting the boot on last night's results show. Stacy admitted before the results show, though, that she let the judges get into her head before she went on stage, which messed with her performance.
"I heard how mean they were to LeRoy [Bell] and I felt so bad. People were telling me to hold on because the judges were being mean to everyone tonight," she told RadarOnline.
Of course, Stacy pouting while she was receiving the harsh judges' comments didn't make her cause very sympathetic to viewers. The chanteuse chalks up her off performance to choosing an emotionally stressful song, which didn't help matters either.
"It’s no excuse, but when I am nervous and emotional I don’t sing well. This process is very hard, and each week I am doing my best to not allow my nerves to take over me," Stacy said.
Unfortunately, they did get the best of her (plus, her "sing for your life" rendition of "Amazing Grace" was pretty uniformly under-pitch) and judges saved Astro to send her home. Better luck at the next celeb birthday party, Stacy!
