Then there was Rozlyn Papa. Rozlyn was a gorgeous competitor who just wanted roses ... and, allegedly, one of the producers. She was ejected from the show on Episode 2 after an extreeeeemely awkward talk with Chris Harrison.
If you can handle reliving the discomfort, watch the talk again — it's a good reminder of how The Bachelor can occasionally have dramatic moments without sound effects or music. Usually they use music to milk the emotion out of a moment (the soft guitars when anyone talks about their deceased loved one), try to turn someone into a villain (the dun-dun-dun-dun when someone is just standing there) or just turn someone into a joke (The Mask's Phantom of the Opera theme, the loud snores when Drunk Tim fell asleep). But with Chris and Rozlyn, it was just two people having a painfully awkward conversation filled with silent pauses.
Why did Chris give Roz the "you entered into an inappropriate relationship with one of our staffers" talk instead of Jake? Was it because of the producer element? After all, when Ali became the Season 6 Bachelorette she had to do her own dirty work with Justin "Rated-R" Rego.
At any rate, Rozlyn got kicked off the show — after already getting a rose from Jake — and the producer she supposedly had a thang with was fired. Rozlyn denied there was any inappropriate relationship; she also lashed out at the show for not letting her talk to her son like they promised, claiming the whole scandal was cooked up for publicity. It worked!
