Former Real Housewives of New York star Cindy Barshop has closed a number of her Completely Bare hair removal spas following her cut from the Bravo reality show.
The New York Post is reporting that Cindy has scraped plans to expand Completely Bare and has already closed some existing locations. She reportedly spent a fortune launching several pop-up spa locations to capitalize on her reality TV fame, but that plan fell apart when she was let go from Real Housewives of New York earlier this year. A source explained, “When she left, she didn’t have the platform.”
Cindy has had to close two New York locations, a spa in Beverly Hills and another in Atlanta, but claims they were smaller shops that were never intended to be open for very long. She explains, “They didn’t close because we’re in financial distress.”
In fact, Barshop revealed that she’s planning a 5,000 square-foot, $1.5 million location on Long Island and is currently in talks with networks about a reality show centered around Completely Bare.
