Did Brandi Glanville Fake Her Friendship With Cedric Martinez to Get on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
Brandi Glanville has been known to cause a ruckus or ten in her life, but the latest kerfuffle surrounding the model-turned-reality-star has people calling foul.
Sources are saying Brandi faked a friendship with Cedric Martinez to put her on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills map. As you may recall, Cedric was RHoBH vet Lisa Vanderpump’s live-in house guest/BFF for the majority of Season 1, but the once-close friendship had crumbled by season’s end.
Then in February, Brandi and Lisa’s former friend were spotted eating lunch. That was when Brandi allegedly told reporters she and Cedric were tight pals. “He's my best gay friend! I've known him for 16 years. We modeled together in Milan and Paris and London back in the day!" Brandi supposedly said.
However, a source told Starmagazine that Brandi’s tale of friendship is "a big fat lie” and added, “Brandi came up with the story of their 'friendship' over lunch, hoping it would land her on the show."
Big claims, there! But is there any truth behind it? Brandi says no way. Upon hearing the buzz, the 38-year-old quickly addressed the rumor, setting the record straight to RumorFix:
"I got the show because of my friendship with Adrienne Maloof, she suggested me for the show. I am friendly with Cedric but that actually almost ruined my chances to get on the show as he is not liked on RHoBH. There is an ex-friend of mine with a major drug habit to support that went to Star and sold them several stories about me that will be coming out soon. This woman is a bottom feeder and I don't want to pay her too much attention."
It’s hard to know what to believe it a situatin like this, but at least Brandi has some evidence on her side; Adrienne Maloof openly said on the show that she was responsible for bringing Brandi into the group.
