Pretty Little Liars Writer Spills 2 Major Spoilers About Winter Premiere

Some new tweets from Joseph Dougherty, the writer of the truly awesome Pretty Little Liars Season 2, Episode 14: “Through Many Dangers, Toils and Snares” suggest some juicy details about the mid-season premiere on January 2nd.

First, he writes, “#PLL 214 Toby has a gift for Spencer.” As far as we know, Toby (Keegan Allen) was left devastated after Spencer (Troian Bellisario) followed “A”’s instructions to break up with him. She couldn’t reveal her reasons without revealing information about “A,” so she just hit him with the news and (literally) ran. Does this mean Toby is trying to win her back? Or is it possible that Toby is giving Spencer more clues related to Jenna (Tammin Sursok)?

Then Joseph tweeted, “214 starts like this: ‘Ding-Dong the bell, Somebody fell, Pretty little lies that liars tell...’ Don't say it, sing it.”

Wow, well first of all, the title of this episode comes from the song “Amazing Grace,” originally a Christian hymn about how forgiveness and redemption from sins is possible. But, “ding-dong” reminds us of “Ding-dong, the witch is dead, which old witch, the Wicked Witch.” If Alison (Sasha Pieterse) was the Wicked Witch of Rosewood, and tons of people were delighted about her death, could one of them also be her rumored twin?
