Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez: New Details Emerge on What Went Wrong
He’s an introvert. She’s an extrovert. He’s traditional. She’s modern. Pieced together, Roberto Martinez and Ali Fedotowsky were just too different for each other. That’s the scoop from HollywoodLife, which has more People Magazine details than just the blurb People shared from its cover story on why Ali left her Bachelorette Season 6 fiance.
According to the story — which includes a mix of Ali’s quotes along with “an insider” sharing stuff anonymously — Roberto wasn’t into Ali’s TV ambitions. “Roberto seemed bothered that Ali was career-minded and had a social life,” the insider said. “He is very old-fashioned when it comes to a woman’s places.”
As Ali put it, “I helped him build his [insurance] business, and I’d bring him lunch all of the time. I was so supportive of him.” In addition to the career stuff, they just wanted to do different things. “He would rather be alone on weekends,” Ali said. “He’s more introverted. I love being around people and sharing stories and going out to dinner. […] A lot of times what I wanted to do and what he wanted to do didn’t match up. One of us was always compromising with the other, or we both ended up not doing what we wanted and staying home.”

She even revealed, “I found real, true love, and I’m grateful that I had that experience. There’s no hate. I still love him, and I always will. But what matters is how we feel, and we both knew it wasn’t right.”
She moved out of their San Diego apartment — and her stuff is going to be in storage until she figures out what she wants to do. She doesn’t even know where she wants to live.
