Cha-Cha-Ching: How Much Do DWTS’ Len Goodman & Bruno Tonioli Make?

The Dancing With the Stars judges probably get most of their money from hazard pay — and it’s plenty! The Daily Mail just looked at the annual salaries of the judges on Strictly Come Dancing, the U.K. version of DWTS, which also features Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli as judges.

The Daily Mail said all the Strictly judges started making just 17,000 British pounds a year — equal to about $26,000, the same salary the pro dancers got when the show started in 2004 — but now Len as head judge makes 90,000 pounds (about $140,000).

Len makes his real money over here on the U.S. version of DWTS, picking up 250,000 pounds (about $393,000) and also picks up money on the Strictly Live Tour. All told, they estimate Len’s annual earnings at 400,000 pounds (about $629,999).

Bruno Tonioli also gets the same 90,000 pounds for UK’s show and 250,000 for the U.S. version. He also makes good money on the speaking circuit and last year his company, Bruno Tonioli Limited, revealed an income of 410,000 pounds per year (about $644,000).

Read the full breakdown for more details about both judges, their peers across the pond and what their pro dancers earn nowadays. It’s fascinating. Do you think these estimates are enough for the judges to earn? Too much?
