First of all, he doesn’t blame The Bachelorette (or reality tv) for the fallout. He tells the mag:"I'm sorry for Ali and Roberto, but I'm old enough and wise enough to know that these things happen. It's not the show, and it's not TV, it's life."
Our eyes popped out of our heads a bit when they asked him about a breakup special a laJake and Vienna, but it doesn’t sound promising, unfortch. "I'd sit down with Ali and Roberto, but I don't know what good it would do," he says. "It's kind of like when someone says, 'Why did you get divorced?' It's never really that black-and-white, and I don't know what either one of them could offer or say that would really satisfy anybody."
Fair enough. But we have a feeling A LOT of people would tune in to see what they had to say. We would. Wouldn’t you?
