Dancing With The Stars

Karina Smirnoff New Capulet Boot Inspired by DWTS Waltz With Ralph Macchio

These boots were definitely made for walking — but maybe you can dance in them too.

Reigning Dancing With the Stars champion Karina Smirnoff just debuted the new Capulet boot in her "KS Collection" for BEARPAW Footwear. This is her second boot in the line and it was inspired by her Karate Kid dance partner, Ralph Macchio, from Season 12 of DWTS.

"As a dancer I am on my feet all the time, so having a comfortable pair of shoes to slip on after I leave the studio is very important to me," Karina said in a press release. "The Capulet boot turned out even more beautiful than I imagined. Naming the boot Capulet was inspired by the Romeo and Juliet Slow Waltz I did with Ralph Macchio in season 12. It was one of the most memorable moments I've had on DWTS."

She had plenty of inspiration on Season 13 too, so maybe in future there will be a boot inspired by Mirror Ball trophy winner J.R. Martinez. In the meantime, this Capulet boot can be worn over the knee or scrunched down around the calf and reportedly features hand knitted rosettes set in a diamond formation covering the shaft of the boot. It's an 18-inch tall knit boot with a fully knitted upper and cow suede heel with a sheepskin foot bed. It's available in black, red and maple — women's sizes 5-12 — and retails for $89.99 and is available in women's sizes 5-12.
