Originally proposed by creator Ryan Murphy as a means to finding a new home for McKinley’s graduating seniors, the show was supposed to have hit the skids when some cast members expressed their upset over being “fired.” which peeved off their creative head-honcho.
But if Lea is to be believed, the show might now well be back on the radar!
Quoth Lea, “I definitely think everyone is looking into all different options, so I think it will be something really exciting. I can’t say what it will be, but I think it will be something really fun... We love our job, love this show and we really would be happy to be on it in whatever form it would be, so we’ll see what happens.”

But if Lea had her druthers, she said the idea of taking Ryan Murphy to NYC would be a dream come true. “When we did our episode of Glee in New York City [Season 2’s “New York”], for whatever reason it felt like these kids were supposed to be there. Rachel and Kurt [specifically], so I definitely think that there is life there, but you never know.”
Lea’s careful word choice, littered with “can’t say”s, “we’ll see”s and “you never know”s doesn't’ have us too pumped up, but we’ll hope for the best...
