Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Power Rankings for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2, Episode 15: “A Book, a Bachelorette, and a Breakdown”

Who’s livin’ large and who’s been relegated to the pool house? We rank The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for “A Book, a Bachelorette, and a Breakdown” in our weekly Power Rankings. Let the countdown begin!

Ranking: 8
Last week’s ranking: N/A
Here’s why: Dana, Dana, Dana. This is her sixth appearance on the power rankings, and every single time she’s landed in the bottom slot. But it makes sense, considering the only airtime she gets this week is when she’s showing off her million-dollar lollipop holder. We were half-expecting her to say, “I wouldn’t be caught dead with a lollipop holder that only costs six figures.”

Ranking: 7
Last week: 6 (out of 7)
Here’s why: We’re quite concerned about Kim, since her home life appears in disarray, and Kyle seems to be one of the few people she can confide in. This is the first word we’ve gotten about boyfriend Ken Blumenfeld’s controlling side, which explains why Kim’s daughters feel that she’s being taken away from her family. Above all, we’re just hoping for the best for her. (And here we initially thought Kim’s biggest problem this week was that she lost all of her phone contacts!)

Ranking: 6
Last week: 3
Here’s why: We can understand why Camille would be frustrated with Taylor, which is why we want Camille and Taylor to sit down and talk this out already. But we don’t really understand where Camille’s negative comments about Lisa are coming from. And this is a minor point, but it’s not a good reflection of your bowling skills when someone with a boot on her foot can show you up!

Ranking: 5

Here’s why: It was great that Kyle could be there to comfort Kim, despite their differences in the past. But what was with that “It’s my party, too!” outburst in the chandelier store? Sure, Kyle played it off as a joke, but for a moment there, we were nervous. And either way, we’re guessing that Kyle and Faye Resnick are probably banned for life from that store after that dropped-chandelier incident!

Ranking: 4
Last week: 5
Here’s why: It was nice to see the lighter side of Taylor this week, as she allowed herself to enjoy the Chippendales show and even opened up to Lisa a bit about her home life (with that incredibly cute story about Kennedy and the misshapen cupcakes). But does Taylor realize that a “lap dance” doesn’t mean that you’re literally supposed to sit on the guy?

Ranking: 3
Last week: 4
Here’s why: Brandi’s in the top 3 for the first time ever! She impressed us by still staying true to herself — as she got down on the dance floor — but also by showing concern for others, as we hear her defend Lisa for suddenly hanging out with Taylor. And it’s cute that Camille and Brandi are becoming close — but maybe they can cool it on comparing people to The Exorcist?

Ranking: 2
Last week: 2
Here’s why: Was anyone surprised when Adrienne told her brother and the “bunny not to hold hands in their hotel? Of course not! That’s just Adrienne being Adrienne, which is why we love her. And we appreciate that Adrienne not only brought along Brandi and Camille on her business trip, but that she also went dancing with them, even though it clearly wasn’t her thing!

Ranking: 1

Here’s why: Two straight weeks at number one! It was the perfect idea for Lisa and Pandora to invite Taylor to the bachelorette party, which allowed Taylor to enjoy a much-needed getaway. And we also have to give Lisa credit for winning that lap-dance contest (although that’s not exactly what we’d think of as a typical mother-daughter bonding moment).
