Grey’s Anatomy Season 8 DVD: Is This the Official Cover Art?

We haven’t even seen the aftermath of Henry’s (Scott Foley) sudden death yet, but Grey’s Anatomy fans can still buy the entire Season 8 DVD set as of now.

Amazon now offers the set to pre-order online at a special discounted rate for early birds ($31.99) as opposed to the full price of around $45. But no official delivery date is listed, meaning the actual day you would receive it in the mail is undetermined.

But really, does it matter? Who wouldn’t want to own even just the first half of this drama-filled (is there any other kind on Grey’s?) season. Watching poor Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) face as he lies to Teddy (Kim Raver) about Henry’s death; revisiting Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen dealing with the “a” question; the traumatic and sure-to-be-painful ordeal MerDer goes through with Zola (and without her). And who really knows what the second half of the season will bring?

We’re gonna go ahead and pre-order, despite the lack of a release date, and while we’re at it, we’re ordering a dozen boxes of tissues. We have a feeling we’ll need them.
