Courtney Kerr & Matt Nordgren’s Guide to Dallas for Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom – Exclusive
When we heard that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom would be relocating to Dallas, Texas, we just had to ask to of our favorite Texans, Most Eligible Dallas’ Courtney Kerr and Matt Nordgren, for some tips on how to make the reality star couple feel right at home in the Big D.
Read on for Matt and Court’s tips for the Mavericks player and his famous wife and be sure to visit these places yourself if you ever find yourself down south.
Courtney Kerr’s hot spot advice for Khloe:
Best Salon: Hair by Charlie. Ask for Charlie Price. Lord knows my hair is my thing and I do not trust anyone else but this man. Probably the longest relationship I've ever experienced is the one with my hair stylist!
Best Manicures: Posh. Ask for Victoria to do your nails and Jay to do your toes. His foot massages will make you moan!
Best Lunch with Girlfriends: Zodiac Restaurant at the Downtown Flagship Neiman Marcus (because you can shop afterwards!)
Best Club to go Dancing: RIO. Best music!
Best Place to Buy Sunglasses: Sunglass Hut, duh.
Best Place to Buy Clothes: One stop shopping at Highland Park Village...DVF, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Ralph Lauren, Scoop, Chanel, Stella McCartney...for more chain stores Northpark Mall...Neimans, H&M, Nordstroms, Barneys, etc..
Best Date Place: Lucia in Bishop Arts District...only seats about 30 people..super tiny and cozy and sexy.
Tips for Acting Texan: You definitely need to abide by the rule: “Higher the Hair, the Closer to Heaven.” Get a cowhide something...rug, chair, throw pillow. It adds a dash of Texan to the home. Get involved with a charity, because the charity events are the rowdiest in Dallas!
Tips for Avoiding the Paparazzi: Well, Dallas is a good choice because we don't have paparazzi! Camera phones and awkward stares, yes...paparazzi, no.
My best advice for surviving in Dallas is just to be kind and charming to everyone and they'll do the same to you. And if they don't and they are rude, then just say "Bless your Heart" back them. That's basically the southern way of saying "Go F%@$ yourself" ;)
