Joe Giudice, Teresa’s Husband, Indicted on Impersonation and Fraud Charges
Teresa Giudice and her family just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. In the latest chapter of the Giudice’s ongoing legal saga, the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars’ husband, Joe Giudice has been indicted on impersonation and fraud charges.
According to Radar Online, Joe was indicted on December 20 by a grand jury in New Jersey, where he was charged with fraudulently obtaining a driver’s license in his brother's name.
Apparently, Giudice — whose own license had been suspended — used his brother Pietro Giudice’s marriage and birth certificates to get a license with Pietro’s information, but his own picture.
Joe’s brilliant plan was uncovered when Pietro was pulled over earlier this year for a routine traffic stop, and when the police officers ran his information, Joe’s picture came up.
Joe was later arrested, but his family paid $50,000 bail and he was released later that day.
If Teresa’s hubby is convicted of these latest charges of impersonation and fraud, he could face more than 11 years in prison.
