Update, Jan. 2, 2012: There's no sign of Beyonce's baby yet, despite rumors flying that the A-lister is set to give birth any day now. Instead, Beyonce was spotted dining out at Brooklyn eatery Buttermilk Channel on Saturday for New Year's Eve, while Jay-Z left the following day for a University of Kentucky basketball game to scout talent for the New Jersey Nets.
Sources had claimed that Bey would be performing on Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest on New Years' Eve, but we're guessing that her condition was a little too delicate to go delivering one of her signature monster vocal performances to a crowd of thousands.
We're wishing her health and happiness as she prepares for the delivery!
Dec. 28, 2011: Forget "Crazy in Love," it turns out that Beyonce just might be Crazy in Labor!
Media Takeout is reporting that the 30-year-old music superstar has checked in to St. Luke’s Roosevelt hospital in New York City.
Hospital nurses confirm that half the floor of the hospital's "Labor and Delivery Suite," has been booked by a very "high profile" celeb VIP patient. No confirmation if the mother-to-be is actually Beyonce, but Media Takeout says that's what the whole hospital is buzzing about.
According to The UK's Daily Mail, Beyonce is quoted in a September 23 clip from her Live at Roseland DVD as saying she is six months pregnant … so that timeline would put her around the 9-month mark, which means baby Beyon-Z could make his/her debut any day now.
Looks like papa Jay-Z has 99 problems, but a birth ain't one.
