Bethenny Frankel Says This Season of Bethenny Ever After Will Be Her Last
Bethenny Frankel has certainly made the most out of her time on reality television.
She began her reality television career in 2005, when she was one of two finalists on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, and continued onto The Real Housewives of New York before landing her own spin-off, Bethenny Getting Married? which chronicled her marriage to Jason Hoppy and the birth of the couple’s daughter, Bryn.
Season 2 of Bethenny’s spin-off, now called Bethenny Ever After, followed Bethenny and Jason as they adjusted to life as first-time parents and managed the success of Bethenny’s Skinnygirl brand and career.
However, Bethenny is now saying that the third season of Bethenny Ever After — scheduled to premiere on February 20 — will be her last.
Us Weekly reports that Bethenny wants to end her show “on a high note.” According to a source, Bethenny "is going to concentrate on her many business ventures."
The source continues, “The door is open for other projects with Bravo. But as far as Bethenny Ever After goes, she feels that ending the show on a high note and ending it after this season would be best for her family. She doesn't want her [20-month-old] daughter [Bryn] to grow up on TV.”
However, Bravo does seem eager to let the Skinnygirl queen go so quickly. The network told Us, “They haven't even finished shooting this season so no decision has been made about another one yet.”
If Bethenny does say goodbye to reality TV, could Kim Zolciak be the network’s next breakout star?
