, it may be tough to remember one of the more latent Bones
subplots: namely, Booth
)’s and Brennan
)’s quest to find a new house for their bouncing Bones
-baby to be. But executive producer and prominent Bones
writer Stephen Nathan hasn’t forgotten, and he was overeager to tell TV Guide
last week just how
this domicile dilemma will wrap up.
Set aside the spine-severing serial killer, Nathan advises — “the real difficulty” for Booth and Brennan “is dealing with each other.” The ever-tongue-in-cheek Nathan reminds us of the hardships for our favorite couple, such as Brennan’s desire for some sprawling mega-mansion against the less financially advantaged Booth’s insistence on splitting expenses. Then there are all the little details: Booth wants a 60-inch TV, while Brennan needs two floors.
It’s enough to cause even the most dedicated Bones
fan to despair...“[b]ut,” Nathan promises, “they wind up finding what will be the perfect place.” Unfortunately for us, Nathan’s got his mouth firmly shut on exactly what that will be. (Though David Boreanaz has something to say
The good news, for what it’s worth, is that with Bones scheduled at long last
for this Thursday, we’ll see Booth and Brennan putting their feet up in their new digs by the end of this week.
