Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The Real Catfights of Beverly Hills, Season 2, Episode 18: “A Day Late, an Apology Short”

Jealousy, impatience, anger, annoyance: all sweet, sweet fodder for the most sensational catfights. When the women are swillin' the ol' haterade, we've got your ringside coverage. Here are the highlights from Season 2, Episode 18 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, “A Day Late, An Apology Short.” Get ready to rumble!

INSTIGATOR: Kyle Richards
WHY: Kyle was confused by why Kim Richards was so late to arrive in Hawaii, and then gets peeved when Kim misses the boat trip, leading to a spat at dinner.
WINNER: Kim. This is a really close one, as both ladies made some questionable choices, but we really think that Kyle should have known when to put the brakes on her interrogation of Kim, especially in front of everyone at dinner. Kyle claiming that she didn’t intend to control Kim’s life, but her actions say otherwise.

INSTIGATOR: Mauricio Umansky
WHY: Mauricio seems offended that Kim shows up 36 hours late to his birthday without explaining herself, and then he doesn’t buy Kim’s line about her boyfriend Ken having to work.
WINNER: Mauricio. We’re not used to Mauricio being quite this confrontational, but we’ll cut him some slack since he’s the birthday boy. Still, anyone thinking that Mauricio and Kim’s Season 1 tension is water under the bridge should apparently think again. Then again, this all would have been avoided if Kim had just told the truth about her tardiness! (Side note: If your birthday is so long that someone can be 36 hours late and it’s still going on, you are a baller.)

WHY: Ken abruptly approaches Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif as they’re talking to Kim, accusing them of talking smack because of what he perceives as a sour look on Kim’s face.
WINNER: Adrienne and Paul. This one is easy! We understand that Ken feels like an outsider, but there must be a better way to get people to like you than by trying to eavesdrop on their conversation and then telling them to stop talking, especially when they’re saying favorable things about you! And Ken should know not to base a situation on whether Kim is grinning, since Kim isn’t exactly at Julia Roberts-levels of smiling.
