Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Power Rankings for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2, Episode 18: “A Day Late, An Apology Short”

Who’s livin’ large and who’s been relegated to the pool house? We rank The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for “A Day Late, An Apology Short” in our weekly Power Rankings, including a totally unexpected number one this week! Let the countdown begin.

Ranking: 7
Last week’s ranking: 7 (out of 7)
Here’s why: Kim exhibited all kinds of weird behavior this week. We didn’t like that — when Mauricio leaned in for a kiss from Kyle at the dinner table — Kim mocked him by doing the same to Ken. We also didn’t understand Kim’s comment about how she often goes fishing for marlin. (Huh?!) And it was just plain odd that Ken told her that she doesn’t like brie cheese when she apparently does. (C’mon, Ken — who doesn’t like brie? It’s delicious!)

Ranking: 6
Last week: 3
Here’s why: This is as low as Kyle has ever gotten this season on the Power Rankings, but we were disappointed by how confrontational she was this week. And did she have to make such a scene about being in the room next to her sister’s, including putting her ear against her sister’s wall? People at a hotel haven’t eavesdropped this closely on someone since Watergate.

Ranking: 5
Last week: 6
Here’s why: Camille didn’t get too involved this week, other than when we hear her refer to Taylor as the Boy Who Cried Wolf. You’d think Camille would know by this point not to make harsh digs about Taylor. (And in defense of the actual Boy Who Cried Wolf, watching a flock of sheep all night does sound pretty freakin’ boring, right?)

Ranking: 4
Last week: 2
Here’s why: We admire Taylor’s strength as she starts to spread the word about her split from Russell, meeting this week with Dana. And she’s really going to need that strength, as we hear that some of the others are skeptical about whether she’s serious about leaving Russell.

Ranking: 3
Last week: 5
Here’s why: It was a nice surprise to see Adrienne and Paul actually — gasp! — enjoy each other’s company this week. (All it apparently takes for them to be happy is a lavish island getaway.) And has it really been years since they held hands? In other words, they hold hands about as often as you should rotate the tires on your car.

Ranking: 2
Last week: 1
Here’s why: A good showing from Lisa, but not quite strong enough to make it five straight weeks at number one (sorry, Lisa fans — the streak had to end at some point, right?).We only wish that Kyle had heeded Lisa’s advice from last week about not making too big a deal about Kim’s tardiness. And we had to laugh at Lisa trying to find dimples on Brandi’s backside, which is like a less G-rated version of those Where’s Waldo books.

Ranking: 1
Last week: 4
Here’s why: Talk about a shocker! The highest Brandi had ever ranked prior to this week was number three a few weeks back. But she actually deserves the win as she continues to get closer and closer to the ladies, between comforting Kyle and becoming besties with hard-to-please Lisa. And Brandi did so without sacrificing who she is, meaning she’s still gonna flirt with any man within a 50-mile radius (as that guy on the boat learned).
