Glee Spoiler! Cory Monteith: Proposal Means “Good Stuff” for Finn and Rachel

Last night's episode of Glee ― Season 3, Episode 10: “Yes/No” ― ended with the ULTIMATE cliffhanger for Finchel fans, and let's be honest, Rachel‘s (Lea Michele) face was a little... well... questionable at the end of that proposal. With the situation pretty much unreadable, we were gettin' a little nervous as to what the answer might be come January 31's Season 3, Episode 11: "Michael"!

But now, our faith in the future of Finchel has been restored ― by a guy named Cory Monteith (Finn)!

In a new interview with TV Guide, Cory was quizzed on his onscreen proposal, and he let slip what we think is a telling clue. When asked if and when the other glee club kiddos will find out about his bold move, he responded, "Yes! There's one stirring scene in particular with Finn and Kurt ― an 'I thought we were supposed to be brothers' moment. There will be the kind of reaction that you would expect. Also, I think Finn is going to be on the learning curve of 'Oh, it wasn't just as simple as proposing and her saying yes.' There's a lot more to it."

"It" being, you know, the prospect of marriage. Which arises when someone says yes!

He continued, "One of the most exciting things about Finn's proposal is that it implies that a lot of good stuff will be coming down the road for Finn and Rachel and his parents and Kurt and everybody."

Seeeee?! Those are totally clues, right?

Now, we're not saying that Rachel Berry ― she of bursting confidence and dreams to spare ― is gonna be ready to settle down and tie the knot right away. She still has to hear back from NYADA, after all!! But she loves Finn, and she knows he loves her... and while we've been warned of rocky times ahead, we've also been assured it doesn't mean anything bad for the duo. (And let the record show, we're not super in love with the idea of two kids gettin' engaged pre-HS graduation... but this is TV, a'right?)

Sooo... cue the noisemakers and party hats?!

Whatever the response, it sounds like it’ll take shape in true Glee fashion! “She provides her answer in song,” Cory confirms. Make that a Michael Jackson song! Could possibly be their "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" duet? That sounds promising... right?!
