Tim Gunn, best known as the "make it work" mentor on Project Runway, is perhaps the nicest person on reality TV. He's also celibate.
"I haven't had sex in 29 years," the design guru admitted recently on ABC talk show The Revolution. "Do I feel like less of a person for it? No! Not even remotely."
Go Tim! We applaud the star for being open and honest, and for reminding the world that not everyone needs sex to feel fulfilled, even if the media sometimes makes it seem like every person in the world is thinking about doing the deed 24/7.
Tim's thoughts on the matter took a sad turn when he opened up about why he has abstained for so long. "It's largely psychological for me. I was in a very intense relationship for a long time, and my partner ended it, saying that, quite frankly, he was impatient with my sexual performance." Wow. We're pretty sure Tim is better off without someone who is that rude, and we're glad he's moved on to bigger and better things.
Just because Tim is happy where he is doesn't mean he'll necessarily stay celibate for the rest of his life: "I don't know what's around the corner."
Well, we agree with the ladies on The Revolution: We're sure there are plenty of people who would be interested in someone as handsome, kind, and talented as Tim Gunn.
