Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong Says Husband Russell Spied on Her, Said He Might Kill Her
The details of the alleged abuse Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong suffered at the hands of her husband Russell were always a little murky, but the reality star is revealing shocking incidents in her new memoir, Hiding From Reality, which will be published February 7. Us Weekly has a few advanced excerpts from book, which contain startling and candid information about the reality star’s troubled six-year marriage.
First, Taylor claims Russell was secretly taping her in the car and at home and tried to control almost every aspect of her life. For example, when she became pregnant with now 5-year-old daughter Kennedy, Taylor writes in the book, “Russell wanted to keep the baby only if it was a girl because he already had two boys.”
Taylor also describes several harrowing accounts of physical violence. “He would grab my hair and bang my head against the side of the car between the two doors,” she says in the book.
Taylor rarely tried to fight back, and the one time she did, it only negatively exasperated things. “Don’t ever do that again because I almost killed you,” Russell allegedly told Taylor. “One of these days I’m afraid I’m going to kill you.”
Sadly, Taylor stayed with Russell even after he threatened her life. But then Taylor says Russell punched her in the eye — an injury which required in reconstructive surgery and a titanium implant — and she finally decided to leave her husband.
Though many of her co-stars on Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsexpressed doubt about the abuse Taylor was allegedly suffering, they believed her once they saw her injuries in Season 2, Episode 19.
