Suspect #1: Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) Why he might be “A:" This whole situation with Noel’s very public break-up from Mona (Janel Parrish) — followed by the fact that Mona just happens to lead Hanna (Ashley Benson) to the exact spot where Noel and Jenna are on a date — makes us suspicious that Mona and Noel are still in cahoots against the girls, and that maybe they’re trying to pull a fast one on Jenna. At any rate, Noel seems to be quite the fan of angry, sorta-psycho chicks. (Who is he gonna date next? Courtney Love?)
Why he might not be “A:" Mona does seem to be quite crestfallen and emotional about the break-up, so maybe Noel is really just a jerk, and there’s nothing else going on. Then again, we can totally see Noel being dumb enough to write that threatening note to Ali on an invitation to his own party. (You would think that “A” would be able to afford fresh stationery, right?)
Suspect #2: Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok) Why she might be “A:" It was totally creepy to see Jenna eavesdropping on Mona and Hanna in the bathroom. Plus, Jenna and “A” both want Spencer and Toby to break up, which “A” has apparently accomplished. (Come to think of it, PLL is the only show where people consider you lucky when you “only” break your arm.)
Why she might not be “A:" Uh, there must be some reason why she might not be “A,” right? Like, would Jenna intentionally injure Toby? Most people wouldn’t do that to their step-brother, but then again, Jenna is not most people.
Suspect #3: Wren Kim (Julian Morris) Why he might be “A:" We’ve always been suspicious of this guy, since he was engaged to the not-so-trustworthy Melissa Hastings (Torrey DeVitto), not to mention that he was treating Emily (Shay Mitchell) when she tested positive for steroids. Now, with “A” seeming so determined to injure Toby and get him out of the picture, we’re especially wary of Wren. And talk about a coincidence that Wren just happens to be Toby’s doctor! (If we were Toby, we’d switch HMOs.)
Why he might not be “A:" He does always have a way of coming off as sweet and like he genuinely cares for Spencer. And the fact that he was giving medicine to Melissa for Ian (Ryan Merriman) earlier this season makes us think that he isn’t “A,” since “A” didn’t seem all that interested in keeping Ian around. Then again, the fact that most villains in TV and movies have British accents probably doesn’t bode well for the guy, right?
