Michael McMillian: True Blood Season 5 Will Be ”Vampire-Centered”
Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) is back and ready to attack — literally!
Our favorite Bible-thumping vampire slayer grew a pointy set of incisors last year, and we can’t wait to see what he gets up to during True Blood season 5.
“I think it’s going to be really, really good,” Michael McMillian tells Truebie podcasters, God Hates Fangs.
“The whole season so far has been great. It’s very vampire-centered. There are other mythological creatures, but I feel like it’s in very strong shape. I’m really excited about where the story line’s going this season... I think season 5 is going to start paying off promises of the first four seasons.”
A vampire-centric season? All our dreams are coming truebie! Too bad we have to wait until the summer to see Steve in his toothy glory — but at least we can distract ourselves with the True Blood comic book series.
Michael is heavily involved in writing the comics, and has some exciting news to share with his fans.
“IDW is launching a new True Blood on-going comic book, so they’re tossing out doing these sets of six issues series, they’re just going to do an ongoing book,” he reveals. “And I’m back on as a series regular co-writer ... right now we’re working on the first story arc.”
