The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Peggy Tanous Leaves Show
The latest in a string of departures from the Bravo franchise is Real Housewives of Orange County’s Peggy Tanous — the stay-at-home mom who joined in Season 6. She announced in October that she will not be returning to the show for Season 7.
Peggy explained her decision to fans on Twitter: "Many of you have been asking about season 7 and if I am returning. After months of negotiation and soul searching, I have declined their offer to return to the show. I just felt in my heart that being around the negative energy of certain cast members, being forced to have 'dramatic' confrontations and the time it would take me away from my family was just not a healthy path for me."
Peggy’s rep confirmed the rumors to E!, saying a contract agreement was never reached and the reality star "just didn't feel the show was a good fit anymore." We wonder if by that, she means her feud with fellow castmate Alexis Bellino. The two were friends long before RHoOC, but when Peggy joined the show, they were name-calling and one-upping behind each other’s backs.
After a 3-year struggle with postpartum depression, which she claimed was cured with holistic supplements, the hot blonde says she’s “in a much better place now.”
We only hope she considers creating a new line of her own pink-packaged holistic products in the near future!
