Whitney Port Joins the Judging Panel of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model
We're pathetic suckers for anything Laguna Beach/The Hills/The City related, so, of course, we lost it over alum Whitney Port joining the permanent judging panel for Cycle 7 of Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model. She'll critique a new crop of modelstants across the pond alongside fellow judges Tyson Beckford (yum), host/judge Elle MacPherson, and designer Julien MacDonald.
"I'm thrilled about this new opportunity in my career and I am honored to have been asked to work alongside industry icons who I truly respect and admire," she posted on her blog in response to the announcement.
Of course, Stateside, we're approaching Cycle 18 of America's Next Top Model, which will pit American model wannabes against Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model All-Stars. Yes, the all-star trope is the gimmick that keeps on giving.
Looks like we had to export a fashion diva of our own in exchange for a gaggle of international models — you know, a typical day in international Next Top Model relations.
