5. It’s basically official: Samcedes is so gonna happen.
We’re super-psyched about Emma (Jayma Mays)getting tenure (that’s our pamphlet-loving girl!), but we especially liked her helping Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) get closer by, well, keeping them apart. By the end of the week, there were more sparks flying between those two than there are at Burt Hummel’s auto shop. Plus, given Sam’s penchant for McConaughey impressions, we’re thinking that a week of him not potentially embarrassing himself might have been for the best.
4. Sue wants Will’s nog. (Anyone else nauseous, or is it just us?)
We’re all for asking students to donate canned goods, but body fluids? That’s something that only Sue (Jane Lynch) would think of. And Sue didn’t stop there (but when does Sue ever know when to stop?) as she enrages Emma by requesting Will’s (Matthew Morrison) “contribution” (so to speak). Then again, how hilarious would it be to see the child that these two would produce? (Does anyone know if butt-chins are recessive?)
3. Kurt finds out about The Proposal.
We’re continuing to be on pins-and-needles like crazy as we continue to wait to see whether Rachel and Finn (Cory Monteith) will actually go through with the wedding! But at least we got that adorable scene where Kurt (Chris Colfer) tells Finn not to give up on being a star. (And after so much talk about sperm banks this week, we’re hoping that Finn talking about his “pudding” wasn’t a euphemism.)
2. Ricky Martin is McKinley’s new Spanish teacher!
Cory Monteith on Twitter
Can you believe that some school administrators are so old-fashioned that they think a Spanish teacher should actually speak the language? Well, the writing was finally on the wall for Schue (and we’re not talking about the glee chalkboard), so he graciously offers his teaching spot to David. We suppose Will finally realized that teaching Spanish meant biting off more than he could chew. (Get it — “chew”? Because David’s a tooth model? Never mind.)
1. Sue vs Roz: The epic showdown begins!
It’s great to see Sue attacking other McKinley faculty, instead of just focusing all of her ire at Schue (but don’t get us wrong — Schue still gets a substantial portion of her ire!). That’s why we’re loving her new feud with fellow bossy coach Roz (NeNe Leakes), who basically steals every scene she’s in. And who else was shocked when Sue couldn’t come up with a suitable way to describe how much she hated Roz? Sue — speechless? First time for everything! Can’t get enough Gleetastic goodness?
